Eye Treatment Options & Rejuvenation Treatments
Tear Trough Filler
Do you feel you look tired? Tear trough filler can help address this concern! Hyaluronic acid filler indicated specifically for the tear trough area can be administered to reduce hollowness and dark circles caused by volume loss as we age in suitable patients. By replacing this lost volume the face can look brighter and more youthful. The results of tear trough filler are long lasting and typically last 12 months or more. Factors such as metabolism, skin care, lifestyle will impact how long results last for. The treatment typically takes between 40-50minutes and is generally well tolerated. Side effects and suitability will be discussed at length in the consultation prior to treatments. Typically some mild swelling, bruising and redness will occur which will usually settle over a few days. Aftercare instructions will be provided.
Beautifeye by Fillmed
The delicate nature of the eye area make it a notoriously difficult area to treat. Beautifeye is a great treatment option to tackle concerns of dark circles, fine lines and some hollowness. The treatment combines a superficial facial peel followed by the delivery of the NCTF135ha serum in nano soft needles. These needles are 3mm (yes tiny) and have been specially designed to penetrate the skin at a specific depth and therefore are considered a safer alternative to other options such as dermal fillers and skin boosters in this area. The NCTF135ha is a sterile serum made up of over 49 active ingredients including hyaluronic acid, enzymes and peptides and is a hero product to rejuvenate delicate areas and brightens, tightens and reduces lines and wrinkles.
An eye recovery mask and post procedure balm is applied to complete the treatment. For best results a course of 3 is recommended 2 weeks apart. Treatment is generally well tolerated with some swelling and redness which will subside over the next 24 hours.
Skin Boosters
Skin boosters are a great treatment option to nourish, hydrate and rejuvenate your skin. These products typically combine a cocktail of non-cross linked hyaluronic acid, vitamins, minerals and amino acids that when injected into the skin increase skin hydration and also for a longer lasting result stimulate collage and elastin production. The results of these ingredients working together are improved skin elasticity, improved skin texture and increased collagen and elastin production leading to tighter and plumper skin and overall a more radiant and glowing complexion.
Skin boosters are suitable for all skin types and address a variety of concerns including skin dryness/dehydration, fine lines, dullness and uneven skin tone and texture. They are versatile and can be used in different areas on the face, under the eyes, on the neck, decolletage and hands! Treatment typically takes 30 minutes. Some patients will see a noticeable result after one session however for optimal results a course of treatments is best and this can be advised on your consultation dependant on your individual skin concerns, area treated and treatment goals. Treatment is generally well tolerated and some side effects to be expected include redness, swelling and bruising at the injection site. These effects will typically settle over the course of a few days. If you want glowing skin, skin boosters are a great injectable to help you achieve this!
Polynucleotides
Polynucleotides are an advanced regenerative treatment that work with the body’s own skin cell mechanisms to support repair, rejuvenation and skin renewal. They are becoming increasingly popular for treating concerns such as loss of skin elasticity, fine lines, uneven texture, dullness, inflammation and sun-damaged skin.
As one of our most effective regenerative skin treatments, Polynucleotides help stimulate the skin’s natural repair processes. These molecules are the building blocks of DNA and RNA and work by supporting cell regeneration, improving skin quality and encouraging healthier, more resilient skin. Over time, patients often notice improvements in skin texture, firmness, hydration and pigmentation.
Polynucleotides are particularly effective as eye treatments for delicate under-eye concerns, including crepey skin, fine lines and tired-looking eyes. They can also be used on the face, neck, décolletage and scalp, making them a versatile option for overall skin rejuvenation.
Treatment typically takes around 30 minutes and can be administered using a cannula, microdroplets or a combination of both techniques. Polynucleotides can also be combined with other skin treatments to enhance overall results and create a more comprehensive rejuvenation plan.
While some patients notice improvements after a single session, a course of treatments is usually recommended for optimal results. During your consultation, we will discuss the most suitable treatment plan based on your skin concerns, treatment area and aesthetic goals.
Treatment is generally well tolerated, although some temporary redness, swelling or bruising may occur at the injection sites. These effects typically settle within a few days.

Eye Treatments FAQs
Dark circles can develop for a variety of reasons including genetics, ageing, volume loss, pigmentation, lifestyle factors and lack of sleep. In some cases, hollow tear troughs can create shadows beneath the eyes, making dark circles appear more noticeable. During your consultation, we will assess the underlying cause and recommend the most appropriate treatment.
Tear trough filler is a specialised treatment that uses hyaluronic acid dermal filler to restore volume beneath the eyes and reduce the appearance of hollowness. By softening the transition between the lower eyelid and cheek, tear trough filler can help create a fresher, more rested appearance.
Results can vary between individuals, but tear trough filler typically lasts between 9–18 months. Longevity depends on factors such as metabolism, lifestyle and the type of filler used. Some patients choose maintenance treatments to help preserve their results over time.
Yes. Polynucleotides are particularly effective for treating delicate under-eye concerns such as crepey skin, fine lines, reduced skin quality and tired-looking eyes. They work by supporting the skin’s natural repair processes and stimulating regeneration within the treated area.
Jalupro Young Eye is a specialised injectable treatment designed to improve skin quality around the eyes. It combines amino acids and hyaluronic acid to help hydrate, brighten and rejuvenate the under-eye area while improving the appearance of fine lines and tired-looking skin.
The most suitable treatment depends on the cause of your dark circles. Some patients may benefit from tear trough filler to address volume loss and shadowing, while others may achieve better results with Polynucleotides, Jalupro Young Eye or other skin rejuvenation treatments. A consultation is the best way to determine the right approach for your concerns.
Yes. Many eye treatments are specifically designed to address common signs of tired-looking eyes, including dark circles, hollowness, fine lines and loss of skin quality. By restoring hydration, improving skin texture and reducing shadows beneath the eyes, treatments can help create a brighter, more refreshed appearance.
Downtime depends on the treatment performed. Some patients may experience temporary redness, swelling or mild bruising following injectable treatments such as tear trough filler, Polynucleotides or skin boosters. These effects are usually mild and settle within a few days.
When carried out by a qualified and experienced practitioner, eye treatments are considered safe and widely used within aesthetic medicine. At Elle Medical Aesthetics, patient safety is prioritised at every stage of treatment, from consultation and assessment through to aftercare. You can also learn more about cosmetic procedure safety on the NHS website.
This depends on the treatment chosen and your individual concerns. Some treatments, such as tear trough filler, can often achieve noticeable results in a single appointment, while regenerative treatments such as Polynucleotides or skin boosters may be recommended as a course of sessions for optimal results. Your personalised treatment plan will be discussed during your consultation.
